Updated website

Since I've been trying to use Adobe Catalyst to build a nice little Flash site a lot of the features I already had on there didn't carry over to the updated 5.5 suite. But I'm fixing it up again and put up some new finished work.

So after a 2 year hiatus due to some really rough life and family situations I think I'm ready to start showing artwork again.

Art Out Loud and Spectrum Show

Okay so I'm pretty good at posting on my blog about events that have occurred a month before. So the Art Out Loud event and Spectrum Exhibition at the Society of Illustrators were amazing. Finally got to watch Donato give a demo and see James Gurney. There were too many incredible pieces at the Spectrum show to pick favorites. Also checked out Eric Fortune's meticulous work at the Lebasse Gallery.

New updates

I'm finally at a point where I feel comfortable enough to show this other piece I've been working on here. It's still a work in progress. I've also been busy with the other pieces as well so... more to come!

I'm alive!!!!

So it's official! I'm not dying! That's a relief. After a month of doctor appointments and painful resting I'm back to normalcy. As normal as I can be. I've been chipping away at a few paintings but I'm really starting to pick up steam now. I'm working on 8 different paintings, some of which I'm just reworking incomplete paintings. Here's a quick peek at the one I posted up a while back.

I've got a lot of catching up to do!
