Okay so I hadn't painted enough to merit an update but now that I changed my work schedule and got a few things done... I've managed to log in a lot more hours on this piece. Got my new Julian easel and all the materials for making some nice brown ochre gesso. I even got a whole new setup in my room for studio space. Pics to come once I tidy up a bit more. So here's two different stages of the painting I've been focusing on more than the others.
As for the drawing sessions, they'll be coming back in a week. Been doing a lot of life drawing at a life drawing session set up at FIT. But here is a picture from the drawing session at Madison Square park/Morgan library. Pictures from the New York Public Library at Bryant Park from 3 weeks ago will be coming once I get on Bridget's case.
